All About Char

I am a licensed practical nurse in a Catholic Hospital on a medical-surgical floor on the 3-11 shift.  I enjoy my job and like to help my patients get well and go home.

My husband and daughter, Daphne, and I live on a working dairy farm in NE PA.

I have a new granddaughter, Kaitlynn, who lives in WI with my youngest daughter, Holly, till her daddy comes home from the Army in Germany.

Bowling is my passion!  I bowl 3 times a week in leagues with my daughter, husband, and a couple of friends.  I have been bowling for 40 years.  I carry a 175 average and I belong to the Northern Tier Women’s 600 Club.  I was inducted into the Troy Women’s Bowling Hall of Fame in 2003 and The International Bowling Hall Of Fame and Museum.  I am currently Secretary/Treasurer of 3 bowling leagues.  I have been the Secretary/Treasurer of the Troy Women’s Bowling Association for 6 years taking care of final averages and national and local awards.

I believe bowling should always be FUN!  I look forward to spending a night of bowling with my friends and family.  I enjoy helping new bowlers to bowl better and have more fun bowling.  I really take pleasure in presenting an award earned for a high game or series and watching the new bowler trying hard to achieve the next high award score.

I compete in 600 Club tournaments and No-Tap Tournaments.  We enjoy Red Pin Moonlight bowling on New Year’s Eve with a bunch of our friends.
